Many of us go throughout our everyday lives feeling stressed about what we lack while overlooking the abundance we already have. This does not mean we cannot desire things, people, or opportunities; however, it is also important to reflect and show thanks for the blessings in our lives right now.

Throughout future stressful seasons, make it a point to begin a gratitude journal. Make it a point to write up to 3 things you are grateful for each day. Over time, become aware of the positive effects of gratitude on you and your mind.

When you do this frequently enough, it can prime your mind to begin thinking in a more positive manner. When you develop a positive and resilient mindset, it will allow you to move through life with more peace and strength.
