Our Doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology program prepares students to become professionals to integrate theory and practice in workplace environments by following a practical scientific model. It comprises 81 credits and can be completed in five (5) years.

Program Goals

The objective of our Ph.D. industrial organizational psychology program is to prepare students to become professionals who know how to integrate theory and practice in workplace environments by following a practical scientific model.

The program seeks to make students understand the principles and techniques of design in psychological research and learn how to apply them in workplace environments, in addition to helping them acquire the following:

Knowledge and skills to use the scientific method
Knowledge to choose and use different research designs and statistical analysis in specific practical situations.
Understanding of psychological theories and models and their application in practical situations.
Ability to make, adapt, and validate tests.
Verbal and written skills to express procedures, results, and research implications.
Ability to communicate theoretical analysis and literature review regarding problems related to industrial/organizational psychology.
