This master’s degree in autism spectrum disorders program offers the opportunity to obtain a specialty within each professional area the graduate student already has a degree. This Master of Science program provides specific knowledge in areas related to people and families living with the complexity of an Autism Spectrum Diagnosis, such as skills related to difficulties in sensory-motor functioning, social, behavioral, and communication, also skills acquisition for early identification of the diagnosis, evaluation, and intervention plan development, amongst others.
Program Goals
The goal is to promote professional knowledge about the special needs of people diagnosed with developmental disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families, diversifying student employment scenarios.

The Institution reserves the right of admission to candidates who don't meet the minimum requirements. Considering Exceptional Admission Criteria: Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.50, as long as the cumulative general average is at least 3.00 in the specialty or concentration courses. A minimum Grade Point Average for a Master's degree of 3.00 can also be considered, if the applicant has a Master's degree. Admitted applicants will have a semester to meet satisfactory academic progress, applicable to their academic level, so that they remain as active students in the program for the rest of the course.

Results of the EXADEP Graduate Admission Exam (Postgraduate Admission Exam, https://www.ets.org/exadep) or the G.R.E. test (Graduate Record Examinations). Only scores that are five years old or less will be accepted.
Two (2) letters of recommendation from a teacher, employer, or community leader.

Hepatitis-B Vaccination Test.
Certificate of Vaccination of the Department of Health (PVAC-3-green sheet) with original signature of the issuing physician. Applies only to applicants who are 21 or younger, at the time of admission. Act No. 25 of 1983, Immunization Law, requires that all students 21 years of age or younger, who wish to enter any educational institution in the Country, provide an original Immunization Certificate (PVAC-3). International students must present the evaluation of their academic credentials, certified by an official authorized agency. NOTE: The Institution reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
