Biography

Dr. Fennell is a full-time faculty member in the Albizu University Miami Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology (PsyD), teaching courses in Applied Statistics and Psychometrics and Research Methods. He is also the Doctoral Project Co-Coordinator, responsible for the overall supervision of Doctoral Project students. In addition, he is the Director of the Bachelor of Science in Cyberpsychology Online program at the Albizu University Miami Virtual Campus, and Co-Director of the Center for Institutional Scientific Research at Albizu University Miami.

Research / Research Interests

Dr. Fennell is an Experimental Psychologist specializing in Social, Developmental, Cognitive, and Evolutionary Psychology, Computational Modeling of Psychological Processes, and Artificial Intelligence Research. He has presented research at multiple conferences and seminars, including the Vision Sciences Society (VSS) Annual Meeting, the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) Annual Convention, the SPSP Summer Psychology Forum, the Society for Southeastern Social Psychologists (SSSP), and the Albizu University Miami AI Seminar and Workshop. His research has focused on such topics as Action Identification, Face Processing, Moral Decisionmaking, and Artificial Intelligence (e.g. ChatGPT).

Dr. Fennell is an alumna of Florida Atlantic University, receiving his PhD in Experimental Psychology with a specialization in Dynamical Social Psychology, MA in Psychology with a specialization in Developmental Cognitive Psychology, and BS in Psychology.
