Biografía
Dr. Marcos Reyes-Estrada is currently the Program Director at the Ph.D. Clinical Psychology Program, Carlos Albizu University, and is an Associate of the Research Department at VA Caribbean Healthcare System. Dr. Reyes-Estrada received his Ph.D. from Ponce Health Sciences University and completed his postdoc on Primary Care Mental Health Integration at VA Caribbean Healthcare System. His current research focuses on behavioral health, primary and integrated care, healthcare providers, health disparities, mobile health, stress, and biomarkers. Dr. Reyes-Estrada has a keen interest in the use of mobile technology for a better understanding of biological, psychosocial and health services delivery issues. He has experience in qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods. He has received funding to study the role of religion in HIV/AIDS stigma among Puerto Ricans’ nurses.
