Yes, the Interlibrary Loan Form (ILL) is available in our Library Page under Library Services. Fill the form, one per request and attach a copy of the abstracts of your articles. Then, have them sent via e-mail to email@example.com.
You may pay for your requests in advance at our Finance Department Office 305-593-1223 ext. 3109 or 3112.
You will receive a call from the Interlibrary Loan Department letting you know your item have arrived. You can always contact the library at 305-593-1223, ext. 3220 to check on the status of existing requests.
If you have requested an article or copies from a book chapter you will received them via email, if you have requested a book you will be able to pick it up at the Library, Circulation Desk.
You will be able to have the item for a period of a month, if you need it for a longer period you may be awarded for another month depending on the Lender’s Policies.
Use the request form and enter the information requested in every field. You may then print your request and submit it to the Library, Circulation Desk. There is a charge of $2.00 per request. Sometimes the lending library will opt to send the entire book. If the book does not circulate, the lending library may send a PDF copy of the chapter. Books may also be requested.
Articles may take from 1 day to 3 weeks depending on how far the item is, method of delivery and how many libraries own the journal title.
Books take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks, for the same reasons.
