MAYAGÜEZ- A  music , poetry  and solidarity filled night. That´s the best way to describe the "Bohemia in search of knowledge, poetry in search of love"  event organized by the Mayagüez University Center for  its students, faculty, administrators and members of the community  to celebrate Albizu University´s 50th anniversary.  

As part of the celebration of health in the workplace, Albizu University – Miami Campus will be part of the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run 2016, for second year, this April 28th, 2016 Biscayne Blvd, downtown, Miami.

MIAMI - This March 2016, Albizu University held its 1^st Annual South Florida Student Research Symposium.  The Symposium was organized by The Institutional Center of Scientific Research at Albizu University (ICSR) – Miami campus. During the initial remarks of the Symposium, Dr. Carlos Perez Benitez, the Associate Director of the ICSR, highlighted the early research of Carlos Albizu Miranda, founder of the Institution, in areas such as poverty and mental health, test bias, Puerto Rican personality, and the social context of intellectual disability.

Albizu University is one of the Top 100 nationwide institutions that are training and granting degrees to Hispanic students, according to The Hispanics Outlook in Higher Education 2015 magazine and IPEDS Database 2013 of total graduate student enrollment. 

To celebrate Awareness Day in Miami, Florida, Albizu University is hosting The 9^th Annual Mental Health Awareness Expo titled “Implication and Treatment of Trauma across the lifespan”.
