Albizu Miami - On October 29, 2015 Albizu University opened its doors to over 80 young minds visiting our campus from two local schools including Palm Glades Charter School and School House Preparatory Academy.
During their visit they were able to experience our new undergraduate science wing and labs, where our very own Dr. Jaime Picañol, using mice and mazes, explained the psychology of learning, memory, and cognition. The students also attended an Anthropology presentation by our Director of Undergraduate programs Dr. Rafael Martinez and met with Detective Alejandro Galan who spoke about Fire Investigations and presented a case to the students with real evidence, facts and findings.
Albizu University prides itself on community involvement. Activities like this one where we can attract and entice young minds is fascinating and speaks to the mission and vision at Albizu University.
