Speech and Language Pathology program announced its upcoming Information Session

The master program of Speech and Language Pathology announced the date for the 
upcoming Information Session, to be held next Friday, June 16th, 2017 from 
11 AM to 1 PM, for those students interested to apply for admission.

During this information session the student will discover what the Master in 
Speech and Language Pathology program of Albizu University – Miami Campus 
has to offer.

The Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program has earned a 

historical 8 years accreditation from the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA)

of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). ASHA is the national 
regulatory body that sets the standards for Graduate Education Programs in SLP and 
for clinical practice in certifying individual practitioners. A list of all accredited

The primary training goal of the Program is to provide students with a comprehensive
knowledge base, appropriate attitudes, and clinical skills necessary to work in the 
prevention, assessment, and treatment of children and adults with communication and swallowing disorders. The Speech and Language Pathology Master Program of Albizu University – Miami Campus requires 60 credit hours of coursework, a minimum of 400

hours of clinical practicum, and Master Level comprehensive examination or thesis project.
