Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status (Form I-20)

After you have been accepted to Albizu University and we have determined that you are able to pay for the cost of schooling and living expenses while in the United States, we will send you a Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status, or Form I-20. We will also send a Form I-20 for each of your dependents (spouse and unmarried children under age 21), if applicable.

The data that appears on your I-20 is based on information that you provide to us. This data has been entered into the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), a U.S. government database that maintains information on international students, and the I-20 is a paper copy of your file in SEVIS.

Click here to see sample I-20 forms for students (F-1 visas) and their dependents (F-2 visas) from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security website.

To ensure that we have all necessary information about you and any dependents that will travel with you, please complete and return the Albizu University Information Form.

Make sure that the name, address, and other information you give us for yourself and any dependents exactly matches the information on your passport(s) and other legal documents. You are also responsible for checking the Form I-20 when you receive it to make sure all information on it is correct. If you find any errors, you must contact us immediately.
