Albizu University is a global institution currently providing educational opportunities to students from over 50 countries. Our programs provide international students with a rich exposure to culturally diverse populations through both academic and applied training.
The importance of global learning and wide-ranging experiences is highlighted on both our San Juan and Miami campuses. You will feel at home in a community that is open to broad ideas, diverse cultures, and international perspectives.
The Student and Exchange Visitor Program of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has certified Albizu University to accept applicants with nonimmigrant status. Before students can enroll in one of our programs, they must comply with all immigration requirements, including submitting any necessary documentation to AU. The Quick Links on the left side of this page will give you more information about the Student and Exchange Visitor Program requirements.
You may apply to Albizu University as an international student in one of three ways:
As a prospective student residing in your home country and applying for a program of study at the San Juan or Miami campus
As a prospective student residing in the United States on a visa other than a student visa who wants to remain in the United States to engage in a program of study
As a student currently attending another U.S. college or university under an F-1 visa who wants to transfer to Albizu University
An admissions counselor is available to assist you with the application process. Please see the “How to Apply” section of this site for more information on contacting the Admissions Office.
