Program Overview

The objective of the Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology Program at Albizu University, Miami Campus, is to train you to become a culturally competent I/O practitioner able to develop and apply scientific knowledge to the solution of problems at work. The continued growth towards greater ethnic diversity in the US underscores the need for culturally competent I/O practitioners to deliver effective services to an increasingly diverse workforce. The curriculum is designed to provide you with the theoretical and practical training in the areas of selection and placement, training and development, performance measurement, organization development and quality of work life.

Program Highlights

The fully online format of the Albizu University’s Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology Program provides those of you holding full-time or part-time jobs maximum flexibility and convenience in pursuing your educational goals. The I/O Program faculty members are active professionals who will provide you with an understanding of relevant theories, research, and practice in the field of I/O Psychology.

The opportunities to engage in applied research projects and/or capstone projects will enrich the experiential portion of your training. Our program is committed to providing personal attention to your professional growth throughout the course of your studies at Albizu University. You will be encouraged to engage in critical thinking and hone your skills to meet the needs of a diverse workforce upon graduation.

Graduates of the Albizu University’s Master in I/O Psychology Program are not required to be licensed in order to practice in the U.S.
